    th japanese way to cook them is to "fry-steam" them. you heat some oil in a pan and fry the gyoza on both sides until it gets some color then you pour some water in the same pan and put a tight lid on it right away. the idea is for the water to steam the gyoza and cook the inside.

    LOL.. sounds like a real drama... By the way, I have ate the best pork chop rice in Taiwan! Its at this place near Ximending, called Tung Yi Pai Ku or something.. really wonderful..and your pork chops look similar to it! Am going to try out.... They serve the rice with some stir fry cabbage and its heavenly...
